The PIA Tour, formally known as Poets In Autumn is back in town and the whole gang is here! If you haven’t heard of PIA, where have you been?! PIA veterans, Janette-IKZ, Ezekiel, Preston and Jackie Hill Perry are a literal force to be reckoned with. It’s been almost two years since I attended my first one. So there’s a few new faces who has since joined the original crew including Chris Webb and Joseph Solomon.

Listen, has poetry ever made you sit up to the edge of seats?! There’s something so special about this group. Their wisdom, creativity and crafty word play is a must see experience. Each artist has their own style and vibe, but above all else, they are mouthpieces of the gospel first. The anointing that flows when they speak is absolutely crazy (and convicting, too).

The Poets In Autumn Tour is a tour that features the top Christian spoken word artists in the nation.  Each artist featured has created their own demand and have reached millions online utilizing the vehicle of spoken word to convey hard hitting transparent messages that challenge and encourage audiences. The PIA Tour debuted in the fall of 2015. Since then, words from the PIA stage have been heard from around the global to over 100,000 people. The mission of PIA is to engage culture using spoken word, and expose a people of all backgrounds to the hope of the gospel through this unique art form. Each night, the Poets perform individual and collaborative spoken word pieces that address that difficult and and narrow spaces of the Christian faith.

I believe Saturday’s show is already SOLD OUT, but limited tickets are still available for the second show this Sunday. Visit, www.piatour.com for tickets and view the full tour schedule.

Until then, check out one of my FAVORITE poetry pieces from Janette-IKZ, “I Will Wait For You” from P.
